Continuous Casting

Overview

The continuous casting process is the process by which hot metal is put into a mold and turns into a solid as it is cooled while passing through a continuous casting facility. Through this process, hot metal is made into half-finished products, such as slabs, blooms and billets. Half-finished products are used as the material for hot-rolled products, cold-rolled products, plates and wire rods.

QUINERGY E&C recently designed No.4 Continuous Casting in KL steelworks with its accumulated know-how and technology inherited from QUINERGY. This, as a result, reduced costs and enabled us to successfully enter into the continuous casting market.

Further we offer advanced technology for bloom and billet continuous casting machines as well. Based on experience and technical expertise we are ready to supply to the clients the best bloom & billet caster with maximized performance, highest operational flexibility and lowest operational and maintenance costs.
